Matthew 7:7-8 – Ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find,
knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks
receives, the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks the
door will be opened. There is a time for each of these and a time to
let it be!!
Ecclesiastes 3 – To everything there is a season, a time for every
purpose under heaven.
Ask, seek, knock – what we do. Receiving, finding, open doors
depend on what He does!
There will be an answer, let it be – though there may be a time-

But what DID Mary say?
1. Luke 1 v 38: LET IT BE to me according to Your Word
2. Luke 1 v 46: My soul magnifies the Lord
3. John 2 v 5: Whatever He says to you, do it.
Lessons from wedding at Cana: Mary took the need to Jesus and
left it there. It wasn’t her problem (she just told him the need, but
not what He should do about it - that’s prayer) or the servants’
problem (they just cooperated with the victory strategy – that’s
corresponding action), it was the Master of the Feast’s problem.
He got the miracle without doing anything.
1. Whose word do we want to come to pass in our lives?
Psalm 85 v 8: I will hear what God the Lord will speak, for He
will speak peace to His people.
2. God is bigger!
Ephesians 3 v 20: Glory to Him who is able to do exceedingly
abundantly above all we can ask or imagine!!
3. Who is telling you what to do?
Titus 2 v 11-12: God’s marvellous grace has manifested in
person, bringing salvation to everyone. This same grace teaches
us how to live each day, turning our backs on ungodliness and
indulgent lifestyles,, and it equips to live self-controlled, upright
and godly lives in this present age.
4. In the end, it’s about relationship. Knowing God well enough to
recognize the seasons.
